Soft Enamel Pins

Soft enamel pins are the most popular style of custom made pins. These pins have a fine quality look and are affordable.

Each lapel pin is designed to your specifications and requirements. Our design team will be happy to use your ideas to create an exclusive design for your team, organization, business, or club. If you have a design in mind, simply email us and we will begin work on a full-color proof for your approval. We have a team of artists standing by to assist you in the design process for your next custom pins.

How are they made?
A metal sheet is stamped with your unique design to create raised and recessed areas similar to a coin. The metal is then plated with your choice of colors: polished silver, gold, or black plated metal. Using your design as a template, colors are then hand-filled into the recessed areas using soft enamel paint. Colors are sealed by firing the pins in a kiln at 400°F. To increase the longevity and durability of your pins, a clear epoxy coating can be added. This coating makes the surface of the pin smooth.

How are soft enamel pins different than cloisonné pins?
The major difference in the manufacturing process is the material used to fill the colors (hard enamel for cloisonné vs soft enamel) and the temperature at which they are fired. Once an epoxy coating is added, there is little if any visible difference in the 2 products.

Our trained professionals are ready and waiting to assist you with your Custom Lapel Pins design and purchase. Call Toll FREE at 1-866-460-9412 or Fil out our FREE Quote Form today.
