Offset Digital Pins
One of the two types of “printed” pins,
offset digital pins are the only way to reproduce photographic images.
How are they made?
The outline of your pins is used to create a mold
of the pin. Sheets of metal are then cut into that shape. Using
offset digital printing techniques, your image is then printed onto
the pin. An epoxy coating is then added to protect your photographic
quality image.
When should I use offset digital for my pin
type?
If you require gradients, shadows, or a photograph
to be printed on the pin, this is the only type that allows for
that degree of detail. If you prefer a pin that has raised and recessed
areas, then we will have our design team use your design as a starting
point. Of course, gradients, etc. will need to be eliminated.
